The water of the lake is several thousand years old thermal water, being sulfurous which is suitable for the treatment of rheumatic-locomotic diseases. The lakes bottom is covered by a several meter thick medicinal mud, which contains the therapeutic substance concentrated in the water. An encircling forest on the shore secures the raising gases from the water, giving a special climate. The entire Spa has an inhalatoric character.
The spring gives thermal water to the bath-house, which combination is the same with the medical water of the Spa, thus its excellent treatment for chronic gastro-intestinal catarrh and drinking cure.
At the polyclinic we give professional advice about the bath cure readily.
It is not advised to spend more than one hour in the bath without prior medical
notice. It is suggested to take short rest after the medical bath. Having a bath
after a substantial meal is not advised. The Spa is not recommended for children
under 12. The Bath-house can be visited only by those over 16 years of age.
Experienced and statistical fact is
that having constant bath cure is essentially increases working capacity,
illness periods are shortened for our returning visitors. In the cases of
chronic gynecology inflammation, dysfunction of hormones our estrogen-effect
water and mud is effective as well.
Locomotive-system diseases:
Degenerative joint diseases (all of
them), osteoporosis, chronic and subacute arthritis, mild diseases of the
locomotive system, diseases of intervertebral disk, prolapse of intervertebral
disk after the operation, pathologic curvatures of spine, preparation and
rehabilitation for operation of joints, diseases of the muscles, muscular
atrophia, condition after fractures.
Secunder joint diseases:
Dysfunctions of hormones metabolic diseases (diabetes mellitus), gout, arthritis psoriatic.
Contraindications:
Active tuberculosis, all cases of
malignant tumors, cerebral sclerosis and disturbances of coronary circulation.
Thrombosis and thrombophlebitis serious cases of anemia, leukemia and
hemophilia, hyperthyreosis, bronchial asthma, conditions characterized by
comatose crisis, pregnancy.
